The Chubb Corporation has finalised a 10-year contract with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). The deal involves business process outsourcing (BPO) services for property & casualty (P&C) insurance.

CSC will provide Chubb with BPO services, including document imaging, independent bureau and National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) reporting, and business intelligence and management reports. Other lines of insurance business will also be stored on POINT IN for future data mining and reporting.

Todd Ellis, senior vice president, Chubb & Son, and systems & process manager for Chubb Commercial Insurance, said: "CSC's BPO services, systems and industry expertise helped us respond to a significant growth opportunity and bring it to market in record time. CSC's services let us concentrate on existing business priorities while staying agile in the marketplace."

Jim Cook, president of CSC's Financial Services Group, said: "Chubb and CSC have built a foundation and governance model that will allow quick response to new market opportunities and lines of business as we continually drive process innovation. Supplying these capabilities so quickly proves CSC can deliver business results, even in challenging situations."
