Has Norwich Union (NU) really thought this through?

Didn't the policyholder elect to deal via a broker (Hill House Hammond) rather than direct, so why would that change?

Surely, the other insurers with whom HHH had agencies will take the initiative and transfer their policyholders to 'friendly' brokers to protect their accounts rather than allow NU to dictate and sell on to Folgate or whoever.

By taking this initiative it would also prevent NU from offering NU Direct quotes.

Also, I feel that the Data Protection Act would prevent insureds' details from being passed from HHH to NU Direct for quotation.
