DUAL takes FI underwriter from AIG

Hyperion-owned underwriting agency DUAL has hired Damian Crowe (pictured) as a senior underwriter in its London-based financial institutions (FI) business.

Crowe previously spent five years at Chartis UK, now known as AIG UK, as a senior underwriter in the financial lines division, specialising in FI and directors’ and officers’ (D&O) liability underwriting.

In his new role at DUAL, Crowe will be responsible for developing FI D&O business, and will manage the company’s portfolio of investment managers and related risks.

DUAL chief executive Shane Doyle said: “Damian brings valuable experience and technical expertise to the team, and joins us at an important time as we strengthen our FI team to enhance our focus on quality service and profitability.”
