Andy Elston joins the Hyperion-owned underwriting agency
DUAL has hired Andy Elston as its group chief financial officer.
Elston joins the Hyperion-owned underwriting agency from the Co-operative Group, where he was most recently finance director, cost performance.
He was previously interim finance director of Co-operative General Insurance.
He has also served as interim chief financial officer at Amlin Corporate Insurance, European financial controller at ACE Europe and head of statutory and regulatory reporting at RBS Insurance (now Direct Line Group).
DUAL chief executive Shane Doyle said: “Andy is an experienced financial director with a proven track record of leading finance functions at a number of successful insurance businesses.
“With Andy’s expertise and direction, we are strongly positioned to deliver our strategic and operational financial objectives. I look forward to working alongside him.”
Elston added: “DUAL continues to develop its capabilities in the UK and internationally, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to play a part in developing DUAL’s financial operation as this activity gathers momentum.”
Elston will be based in DUAL’s London office.
