A timely insurance package has been launched by Edgar Hamilton aimed at those about to leave home to start a new life at university.
The product – called EHW Possessions Insurance – is aimed at students, single people living in rented housing and young professionals.
The package includes up to £5,000 of personal possessions cover, and cover for up to £2,000 of the landlord's property.
Also included is up to £1 million of personal liability for accidents involving visitors or damage to the property; personal accident cover, credit cards and cash, and cover for the holiday periods.
Students can also benefit from a ten per cent discount and also arrange up to £4,000 cover for computer equipment.
