Clear Group has appointed Barbara Duffy as its new group chief people and performance officer.
In her new role, Duffy will be responsible for leading the company’s people and organisational development strategy, including the hiring, development and retainment of industry talent.
Duffy will commence her role on 8 September 2025. She joins from financial services provider IG Group, where she most recently served as global chief people officer and led the people, sustainability and communications functions.
Clear Group said Duffy had “proven experience in scaling businesses into new territories in complex, regulated environments and building new capabilities”.
Mike Edgeley, group chief executive at Clear Group, added: “Duffy’s appointment brings exceptional expertise in people leadership, transformation and cultural development.

Role expansion
The firm also announced the expansion of chief of staff Victoria Gallimore’s role.

Gallimore, who previously held the dual roles of chief of staff and head of people and culture, will now focus on wider strategic objectives and company-wide operational alignment, while continuing to report to the group chief executive and executive leadership team.
Edgeley added: “Together, Duffy and Gallimore will play pivotal roles in delivering Clear Group’s strategy, sustaining our people first culture, ensuring operational excellence across the organisation and supporting our commitment to delivering the first-class client experience we pride ourselves on.”

He graduated in 2017 from the University of Manchester with a degree in Geology. He spent the first part of his career working in consulting and tech, spending time at Citibank as a data analyst, before working as an analytics engineer with clients in the retail, technology, manufacturing and financial services sectors.View full Profile
