Final two hires join from Rural Insurance to manage Scotland and the North East
ERS, formerly Equity Red Star, now has a complete business development team following the hire of its final two business development executives for Scotland and the North East.
Alexander Connon will be responsible for promoting ERS and the development of brokers within the Scotland and Northern Ireland region, while Mark Feathers will look after brokers within the North East region.
Both of the new recruits have joined from Rural Insurance and will report to ERS regional business development manager for the north Jackie Stead.
These hires complete Stead’s team, which also includes Sandra Walsh who covers the Midlands region and Andy Chapman who manages the North West.
Commercial director Sam Hudson said: “I am delighted to welcome Alexander and Mark to the commercial team and following on from other recent recruits to ERS continues to demonstrate the ability of ERS to attract great talent, and our confidence in the progress of the business.
“Being up to full strength in our business development team will allow us to continue that momentum and ensure we are working with brokers right across the country.
“This is a really exciting point for ERS as we look to build on our market position as a broker-only, motor-only insurer.”
