Former Aviva life distribution director Angela Seymour-Jackson resigns to ‘pursue other interests’
RAC managing director Angela Seymour-Jackson has resigned a year after taking up the post.
Seymour-Jackson took up the role of managing director in December last year, having previously been life distribution director at Aviva.
Aviva officially sold RAC to private equity firm Carlyle for £1bn in June. The deal meant Seymour-Jackson was answerable to private equity rather than management at the UK’s largest insurer.
At Aviva, Seymour-Jackson was answerable to current general insurance chief executive David McMillan.
An RAC spokesman confirmed: “Angela Seymour-Jackson has resigned to pursue other interests. She will be leaving at the end of January.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
