Lloyd's broker FirstCity is launching an interactive professional indemnity insurance web site for solicitors on July 1.
The web site is aimed at firms with up to three partners.
Kelvin Curran director of FirstCity said they have targeted these sized practices as they are easier to categorise online.
Quotes can be accessed online by solicitors within the hour and experienced account handlers will advise not only on appropriate cover but also on how to lower risk ratings.
"Our in-depth experience enables us to predict the needs of our clients and to tailor-make policies to fulfil these needs, rather than imposing off-the-shelf versions," said Curran.
