Lloyd's Register and Shell Global Solutions have collaborated to promote Shell's fire, explosion and risk assessment software and services.
Lloyd's Register engineers and surveyors have started offering the service to their customers, with backup available from Shell's experts.
Meanwhile, Shell Global Solutions' customers will use Lloyd's Register's worldwide network of engineers.
Lloyd's Register safety section head, Glenn Andrews, said he anticipated the combination would provide the companies' respective customers with “a new and unbeatable value proposition for risk management and risk-based inspection”.
