Remuneration fee taken for non-executive director role at Ageas

Former RSA UK chief executive Bridget McIntyre has picked up a cool €80,000 for her work as a non-executive director with Ageas.

McIntyre joined Ageas Group in March last year on a three-year contract to advise the group's board on general insurance.

McIntyre took home €79,669 in her first year with Ageas, the 2010 annual report reveals.

At the end of 2009, McIntyre spent a stint as a consultant to Patrick Snowball at Australian firm Suncorp. She had worked with him at Aviva as sales, marketing and underwriting director.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
