Fortis Insurance has been invited to join the Endsleigh household panel.

The company said its consistent underwriting and commitment to maintaining high service levels led to it being invited to join the panel.

In just over two weeks, Fortis has written more than 130 cases and expects the account to be worth £1m by the end of 2002.

Fortis chief executive Barry Smith said it had worked with Endsleigh for many years and was delighted with the account's performance.

He added: "Competitive pricing and service delivery will be the main contributing factors to the success of this opportunity. This development demonstrates our commitment to the broker and intermediary market."
