Unrated insurer’s finance director and non-executive director boost their stakes

Two directors at unrated, London-listed insurer Gable have bought additional shares in the company.

Group finance director Michael Hirschfield has spent £10,150 on Gable shares, buying 14,500 shares at 70p a share.

The transaction has taken Hirschfield’s total holding to 382,650 shares, or 0.28% of the company’s total outstanding shares.

In addition, non-executive director Jost Pilgrim has spent £13,700 on Gable shares, buying 20,000 shares at 68.5 pence a share.

Following the transaction, Pilgrim’s total holding stands at 50,000 shares.

The transactions closely follow the release of Gable’s first-half results, in which the Liechtenstein-based insurer reported a 23% rise in profit before tax to £4.9m.
