National insurance broker 1st Quote has secured another partnership in the interactive television market, with an exclusive deal to provide insurance services through Freeserve's TV portal.
The partnership will allow Freeserve users who access the internet TV portal to obtain a range of insurance quotes on car, bike, home, travel and pet insurance instantly. Consumers will be able to pay online and receive immediate insurance cover through their television, in the comfort of their own home.
The company has already launched a full quote-to-cover service on digital TV with Kingston (KITV) in March 2000, and has since secured deals with Telewest and Ondigital.
