Ascot Underwriting has appointed Peter Coleman as international property underwriter.

Coleman was formerly executive director, global markets international, at Willis where he was responsible for the leadership of the broking team.

His career started at Lloyd's in 1991 at R.J. Keeling, Syndicate 362, where he specialised in international property risks.

ACE European Group
ACE European Group has appointed Steve Reid to the Manchester team as a commercial underwriter.

Reid moves to the Manchester branch of ACE European Group specifically to underwrite the British Printer's Insurance Federation scheme, a wholesale facility managed by Aon Liverpool

Amicus Legal
Specialist legal expenses provider Amicus Legal has appointed Neil McDermott as agency support manager. He previously worked for Capita Assistance where he spent 16 years in a succession of underwriting, marketing and claims roles.

He will be working closely with Edward Wright, director, and will be responsible for developing the BTE legal expenses and assistance products and managing the relationships with insurers and intermediaries.

THB Northern
Melvyn Saville has joined THB's Leeds office as an account executive to focus on and develop the area of existing client accounts in Yorkshire.

He brings more than 25 years' experience with him, having worked at Layton Blackham and Eagle Star among others.

Martin Worsnop joins the team in Leeds as commercial broker specialising in property and liability accounts with responsibility for larger renewals as well as new business. Worsnop, previously with AIG, has more than 23 years' experience in both underwriting and sales roles including over 20 years with Iron Trades Insurance.

Bishopscourt Affinity Solutions
Brentwood-based affinity broker Bishopscourt Affinity Solutions has appointed Graham Linney as general insurance development manager.

Graham joined BAS in 2002 as head of their business development team and has previously worked for Liverpool Victoria and Membership Services Direct in various project and client relationship roles.

Options Search & Selection
Options has appointed Alex White as divisional manager.

White, a former director of Insurance Personnel-Colchester, will launch the general insurance side to the business.

With more than 14 years' insurance experience as an underwriter and broker, he understands the need for specialists in an ever-changing market.

Rushton
Insurance valuation specialist Rushton has appointed Susan Davies as business development manager.

The new role will see Davies assume responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance brokers in the south of England.

An associate of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM), Davies joins Rushton following the completion of the Aon travelling scholarship to Australia, awarded for achieving the highest marks in the IRM 2002 exam sittings.

She previously worked for four years at Marsh UK, latterly as risk consultant in the risk strategies practice.

Kodit
Kodit Database has appointed Carol Boulton as office manager.

She joins from a company that offered safety training courses in the use of plant machinery. Boulton will be responsible for customer-supplier liaison and operation of Kodit's 24-hour security database.

BWP
BWP has appointment David Green as commercial director and Simon Lonnergan as UK sales director. Green will be responsible for the development of BWP's Corporate Retail and London Market Broking operations. He has been with BWP for two years.

Lonnergan will oversee sales growth across BWP's direct and wholesale business. He joined Bray Wintour in 1997, prior to its acquisition of Patis & Co.
