One Business Insurance Solutions
One Business Insurance Solutions has appointed Mark Game as managing director of the recently launched City Underwriting Bureau (CUB), which will develop the company's taxi and fleet portfolio.

Mark Lagden has joined CUB as motor underwriting man-ager, to support Mark Game. Lagden brings extensive experience of fleet under-writing from his previous posts with KGM and Equity Red Star.

Darren Box becomes operations director for One Business Insurance Solutions.

Box joined the company in 2003 and was previously operations manager.

He now assumes complete control of the Southampton-based operation.

United Insurance Brokers
United Insurance Brokers has appointed Paul Churchill as associate director of aviation.

Churchill previously held senior positions at Willis, Johnson and Higgins and Heath Lambert.

He has extensive experience throughout North Africa, Russia, CIS, Middle East, Asia and Brazil.

iprism Insurance Underwriting Agency has appointed two new broker relationship development managers.

Louise Austin, previously employed by Groupama, will look after the North and Maggs Quant, previously with AXA, will have responsibility for the South West and Wales.

Austin and Quant will be responsible for developing broker and corporate affinity relations.

Aegis
Aegis London has appointed Phil Lawson as non-marine property underwriter to underwrite primarily binding authorities.

Lawson joins Aegis London from Ace, where he was non-marine property underwriter for five years.

ascot
Ascot Underwriting has made a number of appointments to its new Ascot Asia operation in Singapore.

Alex Lumby will join in early May as chief underwriter and principal officer. Lumby joins from Benfield Corporate Risk.

Min Ong will join in June to underwrite on the energy and property accounts. Ong joins from Allianz Global Risk in Singapore

These appointments follow that of Arran Wooler, under-writing on the marine account, and Michelle Chan as office manager.

Jason Keen, deputy class underwriter of Ascot's global property unit, has also been seconded from the London office to help spearhead Ascot Asia's expansion.

TT?Club
TT Club has appointed Andrew Huxley to the new position of regional sales director, based in London.

He will be responsible for developing business within Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Huxley has 24 years' experience with major broking houses in London, the Middle East, Far East and Australia.

He most recently worked for the London-based inter-national property departments of Heath Lambert and Aon as business development director.

Collegiate Management
Collegiate Management Services has appointed Ben Randall and David Forman as underwriters.

Randall joins from Martello and will be setting up and running a binding authority with Hiscox.

Forman joins from PYV where he was previously an IFA account handler.

Aspen
Aspen Insurance Holdings has appointed Richard Houghton as chief financial officer. Houghton will report to Chris O'Kane, Aspen's chief executive.

He joins Aspen from Royal Bank of Scotland Group where he was chief operating officer.

Legal

Fishburns
Fishburns has promoted Harriet Quiney and Jonathan Moss to the partnership.

Quiney, who joined in mid 2005, acts in professional negligence cases involving financial advisers, insurance brokers, mortgage brokers, accountants and solicitors.

Moss joined Fishburns in 2003 and is a specialist in international trade, insurance and reinsurance.

Arag
Arag has recruited Matt Warren as an additional broker account executive.

His role is to develop new relationships with brokers, as well as service existing customers.

He joins from Allianz Cornhill Legal Protection.

Other

GAB Robins
GAB Robins has announced the appointment of John Roberts to its UK liability team.

Roberts, a specialist liability adjuster, will be a key member of the UK liability field adjuster team and will be involved in the investigation and handling of all types of liability claims for GAB Robins' broad client base.

He will be based in the firm's Manchester office and cover both the North West and wider UK markets.

Roberts is returning to GAB Robins, joining from Cunningham Lindsey.

Broker Assistance
Broker Assistance has appointed Greg Stansfield as business development director.

He will work with the eight strong sales team to acquire new clients and develop existing relationships.

Stansfield has 18 years', insurance experience. He was previously repair management team leader at esure.

Comparethemarket
Suzanne Ranson has joined Budget Group of Companies as senior manager, finance for Comparethemarket.She will be accountable for the financial controls and management of the business unit, represent the business unit in all aspects of financial control both internally and externally and propose and develop new business models.

Prior to joining Budget Group, Suzanne was group finance director at the Burall Group.
