Axa Art Insurance
AXA Art Insurance has appointed three new non-executive directors to its board.

They are: Dennis Holt, chief executive of the AXA group in the UK; Deborah Gage, an international art market consultant; and Michael Pix, formerly chairman of the fine art, jewellery and specie department at Willis.

Commitments Protection
Commitments Protection, the creditor insurance division of the Lawcost Group has appointed Steve Dron as area manager in Scotland and Paul Evans as area manager in north-west England.

SRS
Special Risk Services Underwriting Agency (SRS) has appointed Sarah McCooey as managing director.

Sarah McCooey, who joined SRS from the Cottrell and Maguire syndicate at Lloyd's, has over 17 years of underwriting experience in the London Market.

DAS Legal Expenses
DAS Legal Expenses has appointed Brian Dunk as manager of its newly rebranded 80e division, as part of its planned expansion within the after-the-event (ATE) market.

Dunk has had extensive career in insurance, both with Norwich Union and more recently with Greystoke Legal Services, a division of Hanover Park.

UnumProvident
UnumProvident has appointed Terry Walker as chief financial officer. He joins from HSBC, where he was head of business management, personal financial services. He has also worked at Midland Life, where he was managing director.

Woodstock Insurance Brokers
Woodstock Insurance Brokers has appointed Maureen McGill as HR manager. She previously worked for Miller Fisher and the Heath Group.

Simon Dyer joins as assistant operations manager. He previously worked for Saga, Chaucer Insurance and Chartside Ventures.

Brokers
Road Runner
Paul Inskip has been appointed group managing director of the Road Runner Group, which includes broker-only motor trade specialist, Motor Trade Solutions.

Inskip joined the motor trade intermediary as general manager from MMA Insurance last July.

Mike Slack will officially step down as managing director of the group, a role he has held since the foundation of Road Runner in 1995.

The Broker Alliance
The Broker Alliance has appointed Robin Frost to its board.

Robin Frost is a director of RP Hodson, which has just joined the alliance.

Mediquote
Mediquote has appointed Mark Kimberling as its business development director.

Kimberling has spent the past 18 years in the health insurance market, as a product provider, broker and consultant.

He was previously director of the southern region at Alexander Forbes Healthcare, where he was responsible for the business development team.

He has also worked for PPP Healthcare and Bupa.

Actuaries
Watson Wyatt
Mike Hawes has joined Watson Wyatt's insurance and financial services practice.

Prior to joining Watson Wyatt, Hawes worked for Old Mutual where he was appointed actuary and a company director of Selestia, Old Mutual's investment arm for UK independent financial advisers.

He has been with Old Mutual since October 1993.

He will be based at Watson Wyatt's European headquarters in Reigate.

Loss Adjuster
Jackson & Associates
Jackson & Associates has appointed Geoffrey Wilson as senior adjuster servicing the inner and western regions of London. His qualifications include a building technology degree and he has 15 years' loss adjusting experience in domestic and commercial claims, as well as business interruption and liability.

Maxson Young
Maxson Young Associates has appointed James McGovern to its San Francisco office to act as an adjuster and mould expert. He joins from Belfor USA.

Rabindrath Raj Kumar joins the New York office as senior adjuster with experience in jeweller's block and fine art, cancellation and contingency. He has worked for Crawford's in St Maarten and Los Angeles.

Munters
Stephen Bottamly joins Munters as business development manager in the moisture control services division.

He joins from Norwich Union, where he was a business manager responsible for a regional branch unit.
