Adam Golder has been appointed chief executive of Axa Nordstern Art. He was formerly head of Marsh private client services in the UK and has 20 years' experience in insurance broking.

Wellington Underwriting
Wellington Underwriting has appointed John Barton as a non-executive director. Barton is currently chairman of Jardine Lloyd Thompson and a director of the General Insurance Standards Council.

Euler Trade Indemnity
Credit insurer Euler Trade Indemnity has appointed Ian Hollyhomes as assistant director of UK Risk.

He has spent ten years with the firm, most recently as an account director within the commercial underwriting department.

Folgate Insurance
Folgate has announced two new appointments. Andrew Watson joins the commercial division as senior regional underwriter based in St Albans. Previously he was with Norwich Union, where he was customer services manager.

Alan Rice joins the schemes and affinity division as national development manager. Prior to joining Folgate, Alan was a new business manager at Axa Insurance.

Lumley Insurance Consultants
Lumley has undergone restructuring, with the following appointments. Shaune Worrall joins as product developer, Ian Sharpe becomes business development manager, Malcolm McIntosh has been promoted from national sales manager to key account manager and David Bray adds responsibility for sales to his existing marketing role.

Ken Popplewell has been appointed managing director and will be responsible for Smart and Cook's personal and commercial business across nine offices in the north of England and Scotland. Previously, he was group operations manager.

Quest Gates Partnership
The liability and loss adjuster has announced two key appointments. Greg Molyneaux joins the firm as managing adjuster, with a view to launching an office in the North-West. He was previously with Knowles Loss Adjusters.

Andrew Wilson has joined the Harrogate team as liability adjuster, specialising in employers', public and product liability. He was previously with PCS.

Resolve International
Ronald Brighouse has joined Resolve's banks and professional indemnity team, based in London, but on assignment throughout Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.

Freethcartwright Solicitors
East Midlands law firm Freethcartwright has announced the appointment of Charles Powell as a partner. He joins from Shoosmiths Solicitors, where he was head of the dispute resolution team.

Giles Adam has been made a partner of the international law firm's insurance team, based in London. He was previously with Barlow Lyde and Gilbert and has 17 years' experience in professional liability claims and insurance.

Addleshaw Booth & Co
Colin Porter has joined Addleshaw's City office as a partner to reinforce its reinsurance litigation team. He was formerly head of enforcement counsel at the Financial Services Authority.

Paul Cooper has been promoted to head up the company's cleaning industry scheme. He will be responsible for growing new business.

Brian Farrington has been promoted to the position of assistant director at the insurance finance firm. He was previously national sales manager.

The insurance, risk management and financial services firm has appointed Philip Bladon as risk manager. A chartered engineer and qualified safety practitioner with 20 years' experience in general industry, Bladon will be based at the Nottingham office.
