Don Oakley has returned to Independent Insurance to take on the role of manager of its Ireland office in Upper Hatch Street, Dublin.Oakley worked for Independent from 1996 to 1999, becoming regional manager of the St Albans branch before moving to Royal & Sunalliance where he was strategy development manager for 18 months.

He was previously at CGNU where his last role was working within the national broking head office team as the trading consultant.
