Hill House Hammond
Gary Durkin has been appointed to the position of commercial business development executive for insurance specialists Hill House Hammond.
Based in Llandudno in Wales, Durkin previously worked with a local broker business.

Zurich Insurance Services
Glen Marr has been appointed fraud expert for Zurich Financial Services general insurance division.
Marr will be developing a systematic programme to identify and investigate fraud with a network of fraud co-ordinators.

GAN and Lombard
Jamie Marchant has been appointed as group marketing manager for GAN and Lombard in the UK.
Paul Picknett has been appointed to head up a new corporate office charged with managing the planned reorganisation of GAN and Lombard. He was previously director of operations at Lombard. He will be joined in his new role by associate directors Jean Rambatomanga and Julie Bass. They will head a corporate team of senior management personnel.

Iron Trades
Paulina Wicks has been appointed manager of claims operations at Iron Trades' Middlesborough office.
She will be responsible for managing and reviewing claims procedures for personal lines insurance.
Wicks has a background in claims and underwriting having worked for AA Insurance Services.

Swiss Re
Patrick Murphy-O'Connor has been appointed client team manager for Lloyd's by Swiss Reinsurance.
He was previously director of Guy Carpenter and later held the position of managing director at Jardine Thompson Graham.

Crowe Insurance Group
Richard Murphy has been appointed managing director of Crowe Syndicate Management.
Currently general manager, monitoring at Lloyd's, Murphy will also be appointed a director of Crowe Insurance Group.

Hiscox
Kevin Kerridge has been appointed trading innovations director of Hiscox's new e-commerce taskforce.
The e-commerce group will aid Hiscox's drive to enhance its service to brokers.
Kerridge was previously operations director for Hiscox and will be working with Sue Walford, IT director.

Lloyd's Japan
Mark Brockbank, chief executive of the Brockbank Group, has been appointed chairman of Lloyd's Japan Inc.
He is joined by Stephen Catlin, chairman of Catlin Holdings, as its deputy chairman. The moves complete the recent board changes within the company.

Uninsured Loss Recoveries
Stephen Donovan has joined Uninsured Loss Recoveries as managing director.
His role will be to ensure the ongoing development of products and services.
Roy Jacklin remains as chief executive.

PCS
David Damsell has been appointed to Property & Casualty Services (PCS) with the title of engineer based out of the firm's London office.
He joins the company from GAB Robins where he was a senior loss adjuster. Also Steven Nock has been appointed to PCS Birmingham as an in-house accountant from Baker Tilly.
Phil Taylor has been promoted to branch manager at PCS Leeds.

Disaster Restoration
Peter McCarthy has joined Disaster Restoration as regional sales and marketing manager for the Midlands and North.
McCarthywill be based at the company's training and development office in Stafford.

Turner Parkinson
Nick Marshall has joined city-based law firm Turner Parkinson as a partner in its Corporate Finance department.
Previously a partner with James Chapman & Co, Marshall has specialist expertise and experience in the field of share sales, business sales and mergers and buy-outs.
Nick Davenport has also joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate Finance department.

Azko Nobel
Mark Inskip has been appointed automotive aftermarket manager by Akzo Nobel.
His new role will involve working with insurers, motor manufacturers and trade associations.
He was formerly marketing manager for Sikkens Services.
