Groupama Insurances is to follow the FSA's approach to the co-mingling of client monies.

The company's new Terms of Business Agreements due later this year will include a non-solicitation clause, said Groupama.

Groupama head of distribution and customer services director Amanda Blanc, said: “The FSA's process of consultation has been very thorough in sorting out the detail surrounding these issues.

“We are now happy to confirm that we have formalised our approach to non-solicitation and that we will also permit co-mingling.”

In the case of substantial scheme accounts, Groupama said expects individual arrangements to be agreed with the intermediaries involved.
