HCC Insurance Holdings has completed its acquisition of a 20% stake in Lloyd's managing agency Illium Insurance Group.
The deal, which was completed on 30 December 2003, also includes £25m of underwriting capacity for Illium's Syndicate 4040, from the Houston, Texas-based insurance group, as was previously announced last November.
