Heath Lambert has made two senior appointments within its reinsurance division.

Jean-Michel Lewis and Nigel Earle have both been appointed as directors.

Lewis, most recently a partner at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, spent 25 years as an underwriter in both Lloyd's and the company market, including 14 years in a senior underwriting position, and was recognised as a major market lead for non-marine treaty business.

Earle has been in the industry for 16 years. He started out at Richard Fielding.

Seymour Matthews, managing director of Heath Lambert Reinsurance, said he expected to be able to announce further appointments in the future.
