Anniversary comes as broker forecasts revenue growth and recruits staff
Henderson Insurance’s East Yorkshire office is celebrating 10 years in business this month and has forecast continued revenue and employee growth.
The independent broker’s office expects revenues to increase by 10%-20% a year, according to director Andrew Wakefield.
“We are going through a process of steady, organic growth and are very optimistic about what’s on the horizon. After 10 years here business is stronger than ever,” Wakefield said.
Wakefield said he was looking to target specialist areas to continue the broker’s growth: “The logistics sector is proving to be very fruitful with good levels of activity in haulage, warehousing, and freight forwarding.
“Other sectors that currently stand out and look like performing well include manufacturing, engineering, construction, professional services, marine and offshore.”
The broker is on a recruitment drive. It has also doubled the size of its office space and staff numbers have risen from six to 17 over the past decade.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
