The broker hired 14 staff in January and February

Henderson Insurance Group (HIGL) has made a raft of new appointments since the start of 2014 as it makes plans to expand the business further.

John Peach, a former risk consultant at AIG, joins the Kirmington office as an executive in the risk management team.

Mark Lynch will be responsible for bringing in new businesses and developing insurance accounts at the UK Credit division, an independent specialist broker of credit insurance and other financial risk products, based in Marlow.

Anthony Betts has been appointed as a fleet administrator at Contractsure motor, the group’s Lloyd’s broker.

In total the broker has made 14 appointments in January and February across its offices.

Chief executive Joe Henderson said the company was considering expansion both organically and through acquisition.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
