Kevin Braithwaite’s team will be responsible for limiting client exposure to cross-industry fraud

Hill Dickinson’s fraud unit (HDFU) has hired Kevin Braithwaite as manager.

He will be based at the law firm’s Liverpool office and responsible for overseeing the complex fraud team and limiting client exposure to cross-industry fraud.

With over 30 years’ experience at Merseyside Police’s criminal investigation department, Kevin joins the HDFU team from claims handling outsourcing company, Parabis, where he was head of intelligence.

Director of intel and complex fraud at HDFU Chris Hallett said: “Kevin’s breadth of experience within the insurance sector combined with his experience with the Merseyside Police Force has armed him with the key skill sets required to successfully identify, investigate and interrogate complex fraud cases.

“I look forward to working with Kevin on HDFU’s latest initiative within the complex fraud arena, targeting ‘Start-Up’ fraud rings.”
