Specialist insurer Hiscox will sponsor top dressage rider Richard Davison in the Olympic games in Athens this year.
Hiscox said it had sponsored Davison for the past eight years and would do so again, subject to him being short-listed in the final selection later this month.
The transporters carrying the six horses he will compete on would also be insured by Hiscox. Hiscox would not comment on the sponsorship deal or extent of cover.
Most of the horses Davison competes on are named after his sponsor. In 2000, he rode Dutch warmblood Hiscox Askari.
Davison has represented Great Britain at numerous events including the Olympic games, world equestrian games and European championships.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
