Former cabinet minister joins as non-executive director

Hyperion Insurance Group has appointed Lord Forsyth (pictured) to its board as a non-executive director.

Lord Forsyth is a director of J&J Denholm, NBNK Investments, the Centre for Policy Studies, and Safor. He is a former deputy chairman of Evercore Partners International and of JP Morgan in London. 

Prior to joining Robert Fleming & Co as a director in 1997 he was a cabinet minister and served in the fovernments lead by Margaret Thatcher and John Major for more than a decade.

Hyperion’s chairman John van Kuffeler said: “I am extremely pleased to welcome Lord Forsyth to the Hyperion board. His wide ranging corporate and international experience will be very valuable to us.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
