New managing general agency Incorporated Insurance Group (IIG) is launching an online broker facility.

Head of operations Lyndsey Thompson said: “In this technological age, people are used to doing everything online, but many insurers are still unable to deliver their services via this route.

“For brokers, the ability to access their clients data on their iPad, Android phone, Windows tablet or BlackBerry suits their hectic working style, so it was important for us to develop an online solution that allowed them to access our products anywhere and on any device.

“We have worked closely with QuoteMac to create a suite of 14 products that allows our brokers to ‘quote and bind’ business via our website.”

The products going live next month include SME, liability, packages and property.

IIG chief executive Mike Smith, who launched the MGA last month, said: “We are committed to supporting our loyal broker base, so investing in tools like this, that help our brokers provide a superior service to their clients, is a natural next step in our evolution.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
