Sirius's much-hyped Stargate system, which gives brokers end-to-end electronic connectivity with insurers, has had a hiccup. Sirius executives were left red-faced at a recent broker demonstration of the new system. After failing to get it to work live, Backchat hears the software house had to revert to a tried and tested Powerpoint presentation to demonstrate its advantages. The brokers were accordingly impressed.
