POLAROID has launched a new camera called Blitz that is being used by national gas transporter Transco to help investigate claims.
Transco's First Response teams, which investigate claims or gas leaks, photograph the scene, attach the picture to a claims report and send it to Transco's billing office.
Blitz includes a wide-angle lens which allows users to capture 25% more information in a picture.

COMPUTER claims support company The Source has signed an exclusive deal with Collectpoint to widen its distribution nationwide.
Policyholders will be able to collect the equipment at a time and place convenient to them. Using the internet, The Source can match the postcode of the policyholder and can request delivery at the easiest collection point.

CLAIMS management company Chem-Dry has been recognised as one of Europe's top 500 companies, in a study by Brussels entrepreneurial association Growth Plus, which publishes an annual list of Europe's 500 fastest-growing companies.
Chem-Dry undertakes accidental damage, fire and flood restoration for insurers, including Royal & Sunalliance and Norwich Union.
