Terri Grainger's article "Skimming the Cream" (Times Two, Professional Development) berates the industry, the big-hitters, the image of the industry and the 'men in grey suits'.

In part she's right. Right, in that the general insurance sector has not been as proactive in the education of students, or communicating the benefits of a career in insurance.

What if we had an 'incubator' system such as that followed by many universities for new businesses. It would spot talent, train them, place them within the market on short term contracts to gain additional experience, while adding value to their host company?
