One in seven people find insurance fraud acceptable, a survey by Accenture has revealed.
The survey also found that one in six people “know someone” who has made a false or exaggerated claim. It also said two thirds of people would not report claim fraud if they knew it was being committed.
An overwhelming number of repondents (97%) said it was important for insurers to investigate fraud.
