Philip Walter and Rod Britton will leave in May

Insurecom’s chief executive Philip Walter and chief financial officer Rod Britton are leaving the company in May, Insurance Times has learnt.

Their departures have been agreed by Insurecom's board of directors.

The Brighton-based insurance broker software firm said Walter and Britton have helped the company through a “very challenging period”, adding: “They will leave the business in excellent financial health.”

Insurecom will also undertake a company restructure to incorporate new product lines.

Walter said: “The key focus for Insurecom will be the ongoing development of our world class commercial lines application set for release at the end of this year."

Insurecom’s chief operating officer David Daiches will assume the role of chief executive; while current financial controller Nicola Howe will assume the role of head of finance.

Strategic relations director Chris Moseley will be taking on additional responsibilities as part of the reorganisation of the company.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
