New product reduces times and costs, say IPP
International Passenger Protection, a provider of insolvency/default insurance products to the travel trade, has launched a new on-line tool to simplify package travel regulations insurance.
The new system, launched on 1st February 2011, allows agents to instantly provide IPP with the details of their insured passengers, drastically reducing administration time, resource and cost.
Currently, insured companies issue individual certificates to their customers. IPP’s new system takes the agent through a simple on-line process.
“The overall aims are to simplify, reduce administration time and increase accuracy, generally making life easier for everybody,” explained Michelle Irvine, underwriter at IPP.
“Although only recently launched, initial feedback has been even better than anticipated. Agents are especially enthusiastic about the ease of use and minimal paperwork brought about by this process. Finding individual policies, tracking sales and making amendments are all now so easy, with the click of a button,” he said.
