Mark Hardinge, JLT Risk Solutions' deputy chief executive, has left the company.

Hardinge joined JLT Risk Solutions, which is a subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, from Marsh last summer. He spent 18 years there, mainly building its FINPRO (Financial & Professional) practice.

A JLT spokesman confirmed Hardinge's departure and said it had been decided by "mutual agreement".

According to market insiders, Hardinge may have been forced to resign.

JLT's spokesman added: "JLT remains fully committed to continuing to build a world-class financial and professional risk business and to its team who have already made a strong contribution to the development of the JLT business."
