Lack of IT training for financial managers is costing millions of pounds in time management, says a survey by Metrica.

The research, Improving Office Productivity, was commissioned by Trainers, part of the Highams Systems Services Group, and surveyed key professionals responsible for training in the manufacturing, telecommunications and finance companies featured in The Times Top 2000.

Janice Brown, managing director of Trainers, said: "Companies could save huge amounts of time and money by undergoing training needs analysis and building the results into Personal Development Plans or Training Programmes."
