Financial services giant Legal & General (L&G) is starting to recruit 100 staff as part of an expansion in Birmingham.
Group general insurance division chief executive John Castagno said the recruitment drive would come over the next six to nine months.
L&G plans to move its offices in the city centre, as it gears up to launch a range of products for Birmingham City FC.
The company's growth has also been boosted by a deal that involves Legal & General's products being sold by former building society The Woolwich.
Castagno said: “Our strategic partnerships, including The Woolwich, are now producing a lot of business growth, which means Birmingham is an ever more important region for L&G.”
The expanded centre will also cater for life and term assurance products.
