GLP will provide legal expenses insurance and assistance to Bluefin clients
Legal expenses underwriting agency General Legal Protection (GLP) has signed a three-year distribution deal with broker Bluefin.
Under the deal, GLP will provide legal expenses insurance and assistance products to Bluefin’s personal lines clients.
The products comprise cover for private car breakdown, family legal protection, home emergency and domestic appliance breakdown, and marine legal protection.
GLP managing director André Scruton said: “We envisage that we will be providing in excess of 30,000 policies to Bluefin’s clients with this new deal offering.”
Bluefin Solutions head Mike Owen said: “We have a long-standing relationship with GLP because André and the team consistently deliver a superb range of products that provide enhanced cover for our clients.
“Their service is simple and straightforward to use, yet they have the in-depth knowledge needed to deal with very specialised areas, including the marine market, which is why we have awarded GLP this new contract.”
