Liberty separates CUO’s roles to create new position

Liberty Syndicates has appointed Peter Sprent as head of Global Financial Risks.

Sprent’s role was previously part of the job description of Liberty Syndicates chief underwriting officer Matthew Moore.

Moore said: “Peter is a highly respected market figure with a first class record in his market. The prospect of him developing and expanding our account is genuinely exciting.”

Liberty Syndicates chief executive Nick Metcalf said: “Peter’s appointment confirms our place as a must see market and reinforces our position as a front ranking underwriting proposition. We have had a long and successful history in this class and we confidently look forward to him taking the business to the next level.”

 

 

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
