Tasker & Partner products for sportsmen underwritten at Lloyd's
Tasker & Partner has launched a new personal accident protection for amateur and semi-professional sportsmen and women underwritten at Lloyd’s.
Sportspolicy.co.uk provides benefits including income replacement, physiotherapy and rehabilitation costs following sports injuries, as well as public liability cover.
The policies available cover a range of sporting activities and can be purchased for individuals, families or teams.
Cost effective individual policies are also available, providing cover on a sport specific basis for rugby, cricket, hockey and football.
With up to 19 million sporting injuries each year, costing some £500m in a treatment and absence from work, the number of sports injury cases is only likely to increase, the company said.
