Specialist Lloyd's broker Maestro Tasker has launched an electronic policy documentation service.
The broker will now be able to release documents to its retail broking partners on or before inception, providing benefits in terms of contract certainty and customer service.
The electronic documentation is compatible with all major software applications.
Paul Tasker, Maestro Tasker's managing director, said: “For some time now we have provided brokers with very certain terms and conditions at quotation stage and have worked hard to reduce the time from order to policy issuance. In many instances this has meant producing the documentation in house. Electronic communication cannot be ignored and is commonplace in many other industry sectors. By using technology appropriately we can drive efficiency in terms of time, quality in terms of presentation and reduce consumption of paper.”
