Lloyd's has signed an infrastructure management deal with Unisys, worth an estimated £10m over the five-year contract.

Unisys will support approximately 1,400 desktops and 200 servers, it said.

Under a separate contract, Lloyd's has purchased two Unisys ES7000 servers plus infrastructure consolidation assessment services.

Lloyd's will receive IT support from Unisys Managed Services Centre in Milton Keynes, for the duration of the contract. Remote server management will come from Schipol, The Netherlands.
