LV= says offering provides flexibility on cover so that brokers can meet specific needs of customers

LV= Broker is enhancing its ABC Home buildings and contents offering to provide “additional cover and greater flexibility”.

Under its ABC contents product, the insurer is offering increased enhancements for customers who take out contents cover over the £75,000 threshold.

LV= Broker has also increased the single article limit within both contents, for valuables, and personal possessions, away from the home, to £3,000.

The insurer is also improving its Standard ABC Home cover. It has increased title deeds cover to £1,000, and increased extended loss and theft of keys cover to £1,000 on both buildings and contents.

LV said its ABC Home product offered flexibility on contents and buildings cover so that brokers could meet the specific needs of customers.

For example, customers can insure a single item away from the home rather than having to insure multiple items under the personal possessions cover.

Other product enhancements across the ABC home policy include: £1 million cover for buildings as standard, flexibility to choose the amount of contents cover - from £15,000 to £150,000, and access to a free claims helpline.

LV= Broker personal lines director Michael Lawrence said: “Brokers are at the heart of what we do so it’s key we make it as easy as possible for them - and their customers - to do business with us.

“The latest enhancements to our ABC Home product range, including our over £75,000 contents threshold, have been developed to help brokers write more business in a growing, more diverse market, offering a quality product that’s competitive and flexible for their customers.”
