LV= Broker has made its highway motorbike product available through software provider Applied Systems.

It will now be accessible to any of its brokers who use the ’Applied The Agency Manager’ (Applied TAM) system.

The move will reach an extra 450 LV= brokers who use the software and will help to grow their motorbike book of business.

LV= Broker personal lines director Michael Lawrence said: “We have already grown the business of a number of our products through Applied Systems.

“We see real potential to grow the motorbike market, and having our highway product on Applied TAM will help us do this.”

The insurance covers classic bikes up to 60 years old, as well as sport and adventure bikes, scooters and mopeds. It also offers discount to users who fit security devices or have had approved training.

Applied Systems, who bought UK based software house Insurecom in 2013, already operate their Applied TAM system for AXA’s SME products and has integrated Close Brother’s personal finance offering in to the platform.

Applied Systems managing director of insurer solutions Chris Moseley said: “Through this partnership, brokers will now be able to efficiently and accurately quote this product through a single, integrated app, reducing time on redundant data entry.
