Manchester Underwriting hires ex-Munich Re exec as claims head

Specialist underwriting agency Manchester Underwriting Management (MUM) has hired former Munich Re executive Dan Cooper (pictured) as claims manager – a newly created role.

He will manage all claims operations at MUM.

Cooper was previously a senior claims specialist at Munich Re. He has previously worked at DCS Ltd and as a solicitor for law firms Davies Arnold Cooper and WHCG – now part of DAC Beachcroft.

MUM chief executive Charles Manchester said: “I’m delighted to have Dan join us. His approach to claims fits with the MUM ethos so our quality of claims service will thrive under his leadership.”
