Mark Mugge will become Towergate’s permanent chief financial officer following the departure of interim finance head Oliver Corbett to Hyperion.

The news also follows the announcement that Towergate’s acting chief executive officer and former chief financial officer Scott Egan is leaving to become RSA’s group chief financial officer.

Mugge, formerly Arthur J Gallagher International’s chief financial officer, joined Towergate in February this year as chief operating officer.

He will continue with his responsibilities as chief operating officer until a new appointment is made.

Towergate chairman John Tiner said: “[Mugge] has extensive experience working in senior finance roles in the insurance sector and, having joined as chief operating officer in February, already has a strong familiarity with the business.”
