Marsh hires Carlisle and Newcastle branch manager from Aon

Marsh has hired Chris Milnes to head up its Carlisle and Newcastle offices.

Milnes joins Marsh from Aon in Dubai where he led the corporate sales team and was responsible for the new business development across the Middle East.

In his new role, Milnes will be responsible for managing and developing the firm’s mid-market and small and medium-sized (SME) client base across Cumbria and the North East.

Marsh UK North and Midlands region managing director Andrew Wilton said: “I’m delighted that Chris is joining Marsh to lead our Carlisle and Newcastle offices.

“He has a strong professional background gained from working in the insurance industry in both the UK and overseas, which complements our existing technical capabilities and services we deliver to our clients in across the north of England.”
