Mark Wylie has joined Marsh as head of operations for client and market services (CMS). He replaces Peter Nicholson, who retired earlier this year after 30 years with Marsh.
Wylie, who will be based in Norwich has previously worked at HSBC and Royal Bank of Scotland.
He will report directly to Patrick Mina, CMS' chief executive officer.
Mina said: "Our goal is for CMS to be recognised as a global centre of excellence, not only in Marsh, but the wider industry as a whole. Mark will play a pivotal role in accelerating our progress towards achieving this through delivering unparalleled customer service and process efficiencies."
