Mclarens Toplis is to invest in a £3 million service centre for its claims management service in Portsmouth.
Due to open in April 2000, Shore House will treble the size of the Solent operation.
The building will also house a volume claims-handling centre, a loss adjusting branch and a project management centre.
Tom Heward, regional MD said: "Shore House is representative of our commitment to regional offices and in particular the local insurance markets. It is hoped that a further 100 staff will be recruited to Shore House from the local area."
